Medicinal Mushroom Chaga (Inonotus obliquus)
Chaga has been used for over 600 years in Asia, Russia, Estonia and Siberia because of its potential health-promoting properties. Traditionally, a strong tea was drawn from Chaga that was placed on the stove for hours before a dark, almost black liquid remained which was used as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory.Sea Buckthorn (Hippophaë rhamnoides)
Sea Buckthorn has been used in traditional medicine for many centuries. Generations before us used Sea Buckthorn to promote circulation and to combat the symptoms of asthma, diabetes and stomach ulcers. The mechanism of action of Sea Buckthorn is particularly focused on the immune system. This is due to the large amount of vitamin C that is present.
Sea Buckthorn from cold climates contain higher levels of vitamin C, making the Sea Buckthorn from Estonia very beneficial for this Immuno Elixir. Sea Buckthorn is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties.

The extraction process
The Chaga mushrooms for the Elixirs are extracted through a hot water extraction process so that all the goodness from the Chaga mushrooms can be consumed.
